Who We Are
We are a Small Farm to Table Beef Business for over 30 years.
Neil and Dawn‑Marie Branden and their family are proud ranchers in the County of Barrhead, rooted deeply in Alberta’s land, history, and blended Métis and homesteader heritage. Together with their eldest son Grady — who also carries Métis ancestry — and daughter‑in‑law Katelyn & Grandchildren, the Branden family continues a legacy of stewardship, livestock care, and honest ranching values.

Triangle B Ranch is Home to Heritage Harvest Beef. Nestled in parts of the County of Barrhead housing cattle on the land & prairie just off the great Athabasca River & the Pembina River making it the perfect spot for producing quality Heritage Harvest Beef. We offer a product backed by six generations of stewards to the land and cattle with a Metis Homesteaders flair.

We are known for producing lean nutrient dense tasty ground beef. Equally known for our quality farm to table beef products that are antibiotic and growth hormone free. Grass raised and unapologetically grain finished Housed & harvested with great respect and gratitude .

We believe we should eat meat as provided by our Creator, we do so consciously honouring the life that nourishes us and being intentional about the quality and source of our food. Some say, “Animals raised in stress or poor conditions carry that experience with them.” We align with this insight; it shows in the integrity of the meat and in the energy we ultimately steward and harvest into our own bodies.
On our family ranch, this belief guides every decision we make. Our cattle are raised on grassland and finished in a large pen with all amenities met, for a minimum of 120 days on a clean, barley‑based ration grown right here on our farm. Our land is naturally rich in minerals, fed by the Athabasca and Pembina River systems, and we steward it with gratitude for the Creator who entrusted it to us.
We are as passionate as any about clean beef -healthy, safe, free from bad anything…From Rx to chemical to bad juju remember that cattle are a ruminant animal and the creator did not mess up this science…it is jam packed full of clean dense nutrients.
🐄 How Their Rumen Protects Them
- The rumen is a massive fermentation chamber filled with billions of beneficial microbes.
- These microbes break down, transform, or neutralize many compounds that would be harmful to monogastric animals (like pigs, chickens, or humans).
- Because of this microbial action, many potential toxins are detoxified before they ever enter the bloodstream.
